Also If you want to access your clips and re-edit something right away, I find it easier to make the sims run in a window that way you dont have to press alt+tab. It saves time ^_^

Every time i download a hack it comes up with a zip file thing.
Then when i go in the game i don’t have a any hacks.
what do i do? was i surpose to do something else to put the hack in?
If you can’t help i would greatly appreicate it.

make sure you unzip the files where you’re told to. Check the readme file that comes with the hacks.

In the readme file it’ll tell you where you should keep those files. I don’t remember if they just go in your download folder or if it’s somewhere else.

Thanks so much for this! It was very helpful, especially everything about the “cameraman mode.” I do have one question:

How do you make popcorn ceilings work? I’ve downloaded them before and they never appear in the game (supposedly under “decorative-misc.”). So, it may just be a download issue, but maybe not. Are the ceilings meant to appear and be placed like other objects (plants, beds, etc.) or is there something you’re supposed to do with the roofs?

The ceilings are placed like plants, one tile at a time. They are kind of a pain, but worth it. If you have Apartment Life, then ceiling tiles are included with that expansion pack, and are placed like carpeting over the top floor.

Okay… yeah, I’ve seen ‘em used before. They are worth it! And Apartment Life has them included? Very cool… I guess I need to buy that EP then? :] Thanks so much for the help!

This vid was really helpful. however i still want to ask u somthing if u don’t mind in most videos that i watch, ive noticed that when they move their camera, its not all jerky. like when they are filming diagnoly and they move the camera upwards towards the sim, it moves smoothly. is that what thea slowmotion cheat is for or do you add that effect when you edit the clip in sony vegas. ( if u use that) thanxs!

That I don’t know. I have all the expansions myself.

No it doesn’t because the animations come from the expansion packs, the boxes only let you use them. Sorry.

when I go onto decorgal it says- ‘You do not have the correct permission to download this file’ why? it does that on all of them!

You have to register on her site before downloading.
