that’s funny bc i did this at school too but i typed the message “Hello, I am God. It’s your time.” i didn’t know that it gave the computer name at the time though, lol. i was sending it to everybody in the computer lab cuz that’s where we were. they all thought it was funny, but i should have limited it to that room. instead i began sending it to the librarians and my teachers.

Please, stop calling using simple cmd commands for “hacks” it’s incorrect and makes you look like a wannabe.

Just to let you all know, the * has to be placed before the message. Like this

net send * hello

ummm…you skrewed up the syntax…this will never work this way.

net send [* or username of recieving computor] [message]

If any1 want a net send version that does not shows up your PC name just let me know

lol I took a shit yesterday cuz of this

yesterday, I sent a message to my whole school system saying “hi miss its ray” cuz i thought each class had a network of its own and I wanted to show my teacher, but I sent it to the ENTIRE school, So the system manager tracks me down in class and I go to principles office and get accused of hacking, I got lucky and got 20 hours of community survive but you can get expelled.

I got caught because when you send a message, it shows the computers host name or computer name, same thing…anyways, the host name showed the room number so I was fucked

Heres the good news, I got kinda famous, the system manager wants me to be his assistant next year, and I got a ton of laughs

Haha, since when is doing a net send hacking? Community service for using a simple computer function? WTF?! In my school its like you can do whatever you want with the computers because the system administrator doesn’t know much about computers at all. If you really want to annoy your system admin, put a boot password on the computer.

ive tried to reset the boot password dont know how without opening the computer in the middle of class LoL, i love the concept of hacking but the computers in my school seem pretty safe

I did net send, but when you ping someone because its a shared network for my entire school region, which is the enitre public school board of this city you can just enter their student number instead of an IP or Host#.
So I sent messages to a bunch of people in the class but instead of them receving it because net send messaged aren’t enabled, they all started doing double beeps as if you were holding down a bunch of keys causing an error.
Was fun to listen to but nothing happened.
